The core of Over the Rhine is the husband-and-wife team of musicians Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist, of whom Paste Magazine writes, “Over the Rhine creates true confessional masterpieces that know neither border nor boundary”. Their songs have been rigorously road tested and burst at the seams with loss, lament, and resilient hope.

August 7th-14th: David Wilcox - THIS RETREAT IS FULL - WAIT LIST ONLY

Revered folk musician David Wilcox has an effortless talent for spinning lyrics that quietly cut deep, and crafting melodies that seamlessly ride the plot twists and turns, and he's been with us to Ireland three times already. Of the retreat Dave says I get a renewed sense of hope from participating in these Ireland trips with Gareth and Brian. I always come home feeling hopeful about finding a way to resolve conflict and bring peace. I love playing my songs as a soundtrack to help us feel the possibilities that awaken in our hearts - and to have life-changing conversations in such a beautiful place is even more inspiring.

Listening at the Edges: Healing for Our Broken World with special guests Kaitlin Curtice and Micky ScottBey Jones

Kaitlin Curtice and Micky ScottBey Jones are two of the leading voices for the integration of activism for a better world with a more whole way of being as individuals. If the world we yearn for will not be built by merely complaining about what’s wrong, and if we seek wholeness for ourselves at the same time as aching for the suffering of others, we must find a way not only to live the change we want to see in the most broken places, but claim lives that embody the very love and connection that we want everyone else to experience.
